Third Thursday of the month: Dining for Women
Dining for Women’s mission is to empower women and girls living in extreme poverty by funding programs that foster good health, education, and economic self-sufficiency and to cultivate educational giving circles that inspire individuals to make a positive difference through the power of collective giving. The Gig Harbor Chapter of Dining for Women meets monthly on the third Thursday at 12:00. Women are invited to share a meal, learn about the featured program of the month and contribute directly to that cause.
Attend a weekend convocation at the beautiful Menucha Retreat Center in the Columbia Gorge, March 31-April 2nd.
Share time with UU Buddhists from across the country and hear teachings from Roshi (and UU minister) James Ford, author of If You're Lucky, Your Heart Will Break: Field Notes from a Zen Life. This is the first time the UUBF Convocation has been held on the West Coast in six years.

Curtis Senior High School, University Place
Associated Ministries of Tacoma/Pierce County is hosting a one-day conference for women of all faiths at Curtis High School on March 4, 2017. This one-day conference, the first of its kind in our area, will bring together women who want to explore the potential and power of interfaith collaboration, as well as engage with the community to spur positive change. In an often-divisive world, the Interfaith Women’s Conference will emphasize that which unites us—compassion and understanding. All women of faith as well as spiritual seekers are invited!
